We're changing the way people think about plumbing.

Waterline Plumbing was started by Alex Woollam in 2008. During Alex’s plumbing apprenticeship, he heard the same common complaints from contractors about other plumbers: unreliable, high turnover and messy.

With a new business venture in mind, Alex was determined to provide a better product and service. He set out to change the overall reputation of the plumbing industry and it wasn’t long before the phones were ringing with referrals for different types of jobs.

In 2017 Alex was joined by Co-Owner, Laura Boddington, and together they launched a new Service Division, adding to their already thriving New Home Build and Renovation Divisions. This came after hearing negative reviews from people about their experiences with other plumbing companies: unreliable, unknowledgeable, overall lack of good service, along with large, unexpected bills.

Waterline Plumbing, set out to change the face of plumbing one step at a time. Starting with transparency pricing; proudly being the first to provide all pricing online while continuing to keep rates competitive.  Yet never faulting on the high level of clean & quality services you can trust.

Being a local North Vancouver family owned & operated business and believe in supporting your community, it was important for us to do our part. Therefore we have introduced new eco-friendly procedures into our day to day runnings within the plumbing practices. We are proud to be “The North Shore’s Most Trusted Plumbers” and looking forward to continuing our goal of changing the reputation of the plumbing industry.

Recently had a leak problem that would require some work. Happened to be fortunate to have this company in my neighborhood so stopped by to see if they could help. Laura was very accommodating and said she would have someone there next day. Later that day she sent an e-mail asking if i could send a photo of the damaged area so that they could make sure they would have proper materials on hand so that they wouldn't have to run up extra "travel time costs" to get parts. Showed up on time and did an excellent job, made sure everything was cleaned up to our expectations. On top of that bill was "no surprises" and certainly reasonable. Would certainly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I needed a new hot water tank for my house and called Waterline Plumbing. Alex came out and gave me a free estimate on the replacement cost for a new tank plus installation.

I also had questions about the options for a tankless, on demand type system which he answered for me. He was very honest and straightforward, and gave me the facts on the differences between the 2 types of systems and let me decide for myself. I decided to go with a traditional tank like the one I had, but I learned a lot about the different options.

When they came back a few days later to install my tank they were very respectful and courteous and did a great job replacing my old tank.
I was very impressed with the service!
